All The Presidents (Are Men)

Yes! On to our story!
That ‘45-47’ logo, I understand, is meant to hammer home that Donald Trump never lost to Joe Biden in the 2020 United States of America presidential election. Irrespective of that messaging it is wrong in other ways too.
There have been forty-five presidents of the United States of America. George Washington being the first and serving two consecutive terms in office. He’s never referred to as the second president of the United States of America. That was John Adams.
Grover Cleveland was the first president to serve two non-consecutive terms and is known as the 22nd President. Donald Trump became the 44th President and remains (linguistically) the 44th President of the United States of America.
If we start counting president’s in terms of terms in office (my definition being you served as President though not necessarily for the full four year term), then Donald Trump completed the 63rd term and is now in the 65th term.
From linguistic arguments to legal ones: Amendment 22 of the US Constitution prohibits more than two elected terms in office, so ‘45-47’ is impossible. Not sure how much of a deterrent that will be in trying to stop Donald Trump from attempting to become the 44th President serving the 66th term.
